The Bluetooth® Headset for PLAYSTATION®3 (PS3™) system leverages advances in voice technology to create a revolutionary online voice chat experience for gamers. The new High-Quality (HQ) mode* feature delivers clear and wide-band online voice communication by utilizing the Headset’s dual microphone design.

The Headset further intensifies gameplay by enabling or enhancing advanced in-game features:

• Voice command (the ability to direct AI-controlled characters using voice)
• Voice animation (an in-game character can mimic what a player is saying during voice chat)
• Proximity chat (high quality voice playback in full surround sound to match all of the sound effects and voiceovers in the game)

The Bluetooth Headset’s compact and ergonomic design and advanced features are specifically intended to amplify the gamer’s experience. This is the latest enhancement to multiplayer gaming only available on PlayStation®Network.

The Bluetooth Headset is easily paired with PS3™ system, as well as most Bluetooth enabled cell phones and audio devices. Additional features include an in-game Headset status indicator, a charging cradle that turns the Headset into a desktop microphone when attached, and a large, easily accessible microphone mute button.

* High-Quality (HQ) mode enables wide-band wireless voice communication with the PS3 system. It utilizes the Headset’s dual-microphone design to enable proprietary PS3 system based noise cancelling. HQ mode is only available on PS3 system, and not with other Bluetooth enabled cell phones or devices. PS3 system must be updated to System Software 2.50 or higher to enable HQ mode.
